The first of May is a public holiday in Latvia, as people take time off for International Workers Day. However, for us at Riga Bike Tours and Rent, this is a day of work as we kick-off our Daily Bike Tour season. As the weather gets nicer, we run two tours every day until the end of September. If you are visiting Riga this summer, then joining our Daily Bike Tour is the perfect way to discover the city.
Every day from May 1st to 30th September, we run our two Daily Bicycle Tours at 12:00 and 15:00. We created two different routes that cover the most interesting parts of the Riga, outside the Old Town. Both tours will introduce you to the authentic parts of the city, showing how diverse Riga really is.
The 12:00 route covers Kipsala island, the Art Nouveau district and the parks and gardens around the old city. The tour at 15:00 explores more alternative regions, such as the Moscow district, city centre and Great Cemetery.
We start and finish the tours at our shop, the “Riga Explorers Club” in the Old Town, just come 5 minutes before the start of the tour to select a bike and grab a helmet. We also have bicycles for rental, so you can keep the bike if you wish to explore the city further after the tour.
Get the most our of your visit to Riga, see more of the city from the comfort of a bike saddle on one of our Riga Daily Bike Tours.
