Riga Bicycle Tours

We love bicycles, but we also like old cars – this is an old Soviet car that we just noticed on the streets near Art Nouveau district in Riga.

It is realy nice to ride around Riga in late evenings in Summer – the streets are empty – people are happy and lights are on. Experience it Yourself or join one of our Midnight Madness Bike Tours to see all the cool places.

This bike path on Skolas iela was opened just last summer. While cycling in Riga, even on the bicycle roads, always be sure to watch out for careless pedestrians – people are still not used to bike paths and sometimes pedestrians use them as a walkway.

We finally have these and more great Dutch bikes from studentbike.lv. These bikes are really good for city streets and roads in the suburbs. Handlebars are in a comfortable high position which allows an easy ride and gives a great sightseeing experience. Seats and handlebar height and angle is fully adjustable. Thanks to people at Skābene Cafe we have a spece to store them. We always recommend Skabene as a place to go – especially in those hot summer afternoons – Skabene is located in an old merchants house – the walls are thick so it is always pleasantly cool during summers.

According to Latvian aviation enthusiasts website – Riga has probably seen more than one zeppelin over the years.
